There was plastic. When you buy eco-friendly sunglasses because you don’t wanna contribute to plastic waste the last thing you want is to contribute to plastic waste. For no reason these had a small plastic bag around the full of the glasses and then a second plastic bag around just the frame of the glasses. Nowhere on the plastic was indicated to be a special eco-friendly compostable type so my guess is that it’s regular plastic as that’s what it appeared to look like. Why the hell would anyone spend so much money on bamboo sunglasses and then be like happy that there was plastic around them? I could’ve gone to dollar tree and spent two bucks if I wanted to contribute to plastic waste.I bought these for my son he wears them almost every day! Holding up nice!Bamboo!
