ELEVATED SPIRIT - Phonos brings refined rhythm and soul to the Zafrique Ensemble, our special collection designed with Ambassador Mikey February. Taking design cues from both Myles and Hirsch, Phonos creates a dynamic look that’s both familiar and fresh, thanks to a wider fit, structured beveling, and a timeless silhouette.

FRAME MATERIAL - Each frame has an ultra-light frame construction and is also handmade with durable zyl acetate for long-term wear.

HARDWARE & LENS - Five barrel rivet hinges mounted to triple-dot pattern rivets on front and double dot rivets on the temple. Each pair of CR-39 lenses are manufactured by Carl Zeiss Vision and feature UVA/UVB protection and a 6-base curve. Polarized lens options are available.

PROTECTIVE CARE - Each pair of RAEN sunglasses comes with a premium black leather case and lens cloth to help keep your frames protected.

WARRANTY AND DISCLAIMER - California residents, please read Proposition 65 warning. If issues experienced with the frame include a manufacturer's defect, or an issue resulting from an inherent flaw in the product, RAEN provides a 365-day warranty from the time of purchase. These are super comfy and very stylish. They are suitable for men or women, and I really like the shape of them. Most sunglasses look a little wonky on me, but these are quite flattering. They are sturdy and have held up well on my travels this summer.I like the lenses and the frames are quite well made, when you close up the glasses to put them in the case the hinge is smooth and doesn't feel cheap. I really like them. They come in a nice sturdy rigid case. Most sunglasses these days come in flimsy cases- this case is nice and strong and protects the glasses well.Recommend!I was a little disappointed when I opened these, because the case is pretty severely discolored on the inside. But when I saw the glasses it all vanished. These are gorgeous. The are some of the best quality glasses I have ever worn. Other reviewers who know more about sunglass construction have explained why these are so nice. I am just here to pipe up and agree. I have had designer glasses that retail for significantly more, but they haven't been this well made. And they are extremely comfortable. I am thrilled. They come in a branded box with a branded polishing cloth and the afore mentioned case. The discoloration is a bit of a bummer, because these beauties deserve a nice home. The style is an oversized one, and they look great on both my husband and me. I suspect we will be wrestling for them. :)RAEN's Phonos Sunglasses come nicely boxed and include a small hard sided case. The glasses are very nicely made. The materials are high quality, the hinges are robust and smooth, and the finish quality is excellent. Compared to my Ray-Ban Wayfarers these are just as nicely made. The sunglasses have an attractive ombre finish that changes from brown tortoise shell on top to a solid honey color. They are an attractive slightly squared off shape and look both modern and retro simultaneously. The look is classic and timeless. The sunglasses are lightweight and comfortable. They don't slide down my nose or place too much pressure behind my ears. They are comfortable to wear for hours. The lenses are sharp and clear and the tint is moderate. Perfect for most types of weather. All in all... excellent, if pricey. This is an exceptional pair of sunglasses.I'm no stranger to higher end brands, having owned several pairs from the likes of American Optical and Christopher Cloos, but the moment I took these out of their hard case I was taken aback by the quality. These things feel more solid and well made than any sunglasses I've ever worn, and at around $185 they're actually cheaper than some in my collection. It goes without saying, but they beat the pants of Ray Ban.The big selling point here is, by a country mile, the build quality. There's not a micrometer of play at the hinges. The temples open like a heavy door, relying on precision manufacture rather than a sprung hinge to maintain their tension. I have maybe a dozen pairs of tortoiseshell frames, but none of them look quite as... as 3D as these. There's a depth to the pattern that's just a joy to behold. Now, to be honest these frames are a little large for me. They're designed for a fairly big head, or for someone intentionally going for a slightly oversized look. I imagine they'll never look quite as flattering on me as they would on someone with the right proportions, but I don't care. Wearing these sunglasses feels like an occasion. I love them. These have a similar body of the Wayfair, I have smaller eyes and my brows peak over the top. They say “mens” but, but my avg sized wife wears them-no dent in the bridge of her nose. The frame is a heavy, I associate weight with quality in my shades. The lenses are polarized and are medium dark tint—it is a bit difficult to see my phone screen (due to the rainbow polarizing and tint) to see my phone in the sun with these on. Great for hanging out in the sun! Hope this helpful!I’ve been a fan of RAEN sunglasses for years now. They just look great on everyone. My significant other and I trade them back and forth and they look just as amazing on her as they do on me. They’re a bit oversized on her, and they’re perfectly dialed-in on my face. I don’t like “sporty” sunglasses, they just look cheap and everybody has them. These shades are 100% classic and I can’t stop getting compliments when I wear them out in public. The tortoise shell is incredible. It looks even better in person than it does in the photos. I’d definitely say this is on the lighter end of the tortoise shades I’ve seen. This shape is quite flattering and looks almost like a frame called Calabar from GLCO.RAEN sunglasses are so fairly priced, too, especially when you shop around and see that other nice brands charge $300, $400, and even $500+ for a pair of shades. Ludicrous. These are expensive enough that you know you’re getting a quality product that was designed and manufactured thoughtfully and not so expensive that you cringe thinking about damaging them or losing them. When these sunglasses arrived the first thing I noticed was how durable the frames felt. They are pretty heavy and feel quality. After wearing the glasses outside I noticed the lenses do a great job at reducing glare from shiny objects without too much tint. The lenses are a little big for me but this does not affect the quality of the product. I also found the nose piece to be slightly uncomfortable after about an hour as it is just a hard piece of plastic that can not be adjusted. Overall these feel like very nice sunglasses!
